Coronation Street Episode Review; Thursday 22nd of Feb 2018 8.30pm

Welcome to Thursday's late edition of the Coronation Street Blog. It's just the half hour again tonight as we all watched The Brits last night, didn't we?. Anyway, let's delve into this extra/re-scheduled episode and find out what happened!.

Tonight's episode begins at breakfast time. Liz dashes down the street (all rollers and curlers al'a Hilda Ogden) proposing lunch at The Bistro with Eileen to reunite the friendship. Pat, however, has a big day ahead.

David rolls in drunk doing the 'walk of shame' after a night on the tiles with Josh, smelling like Audrey at Christmas!.

Billy dopes up on methadone for breakfast and it's nearly his birthday - but will his brother bring him drugs as a special gift?.

At Roy's Rolls, Johnny is ready to tend to Roy's allotment, and invites Liz over, but not before her reconciliation dinner with Eileen.

At The Bistro, the reconciliation soon turns sour as the ladies track record with feckless men, soon rattles the pair of them. Is this friendship doomed?.

Meanwhile, Sarah's smile at Josh is suddenly a shock as she spots Billy's brother Lee waltzing down the street (he did kidnap her once if you remember). David promises to defend his sister and violently confronts Lee, luckily Josh comes to his rescue. Revealing this history to his new best friend, is 'psycho' David about to make a return, and will Josh assist in helping him?

Over at Nicola's flat, a holed up Seb is sat chilling to tunes with massive headphones on, little realising that Phelan is stood watching from a distance.

Back at No.11 Phelan catches up with Nicola, laying on his most psychotic, yet eerily charming demeanour. Looking shaken, it isn't long before the police come calling for Nicola. A concerned neighbour has called the cops about a disturbance at her flat. Could Phelan have called the cops? Seb certainly thinks so.

Deserting the allotment, Johnny hides in the disused factory and is soon greeted by Liz and a bottle of brandy. The boozed-up pair head back to The Bistro and Jenny (once again)is left looking none too pleased.  Will Jenny and Johnny be the next relationship to faulter?.

That's me done until next Wednesday at 7.30pm, I'm off to Nicks Bistro for a curry, I think there's one going spare!

Tara!

Sarah smiling at Josh?
Please, writers don't pair Sarah up with Josh so soon after her break up with Gary.
It makes her look pathetic to always have the attention of a man.
I also shudder the thought of Sarah taking Josh's side with the upcoming rape od her brother just as she took Callum's side.
