If you think Dev's new squeeze, Bernie the golf-pro looked familiar on Coronation Street last night, that's because she's been in Corrie before.
Bernie's played by actress Jennifer Hennessey who's played Policewoman DC Kay on the cobbles before. As DC Kay she investigated Natalie Horrocks' allegation that Sally Webster had deliberately left taps running in Natalie's bathroom, damaging the hall and stairs. And in 1999 she helped investigate Greg Kelly's attack on Sally Webster and Nick Tilsley.
This time around as Bernie the golf woman, it looks like she's going to get some of that good ol' fashioned Dev-lurve.

Well, this golf rivalry between Dev and Steve got a little less lame with the introduction of a lady golf pro...yes, perhaps there's love/lust in the air for Dev who's alone after losing Tara, uncle Umed, kabob manager/employee Daryl, and his daughter in quick succession...
Great detective work - a hole in one! Some decent light relief amid all the current drama.
I recognise her from The Office!
I like her as a short term character but she encourages Dev to behave even sillier than usual which is not a good thing! Dev is becoming extremely cartoonish IMO.
I don't like this forced "hilarity" storyline at all. Golf on Corrie? Surely the lads would be kicking a football on a 5-a-side time somewhere not playing golf.
Nah, Dev has always played golf, it's more his style. Steve was always one to put on airs and try to better himself so i'm not surprised he's taken up golf as a "businessman about town". I think he's been seen playing in the past as well.
It was driving me nuts where I'd seen her before, when it finally came to me - Dr Who, Series 3, "Gridlock" - she was married to the catperson played by Ardal O'Hanlon!
She looks like another actress on British TV and I can't for the life of me think who it is, may be a soeap or a drama - any Idea??
