Ben Price (Nick Tilsley) was interviewed on ITV's This Morning, this morning. And so was his on-screen step-dad Martin Platt, actor Sean Wilson.
Sean was on the programme to promote his career as a cheese maker, which he's been working at for some years now ever since he left Coronation Street.
Ben Price spoke about his Corrie character's current storyline, where Nick has just become daddy to Leanne and Steve's baby.
He also talked about why he's leaving Coronation Street. He says he lives 200 miles away from the set and doesn't see his family enough. After seven years on the show, it took a long time for him to make the decision to leave but he says he's leaving to spend more time with his wife and kids.
Ben says he's got a few more months left on the show but can't reveal how he's leaving. "Whatever serves the show best," he says, happy to leave his exit to the writers.
After leaving Corrie, Ben plans to spend more time concentrating on writing and producing his short films.

The sooner Nick leaves the better, from where I'm standing; he's getting more and more unbearable by the episode. I liked him with Carla but I'm getting a bit sick of this on-again-off-again with Leanne, and frankly I don't enjoy any of his scenes anymore.
Besides, I feel so bad for Liz, knowing about her grandson but not being able to get to know him so I can't wait for it all to come out so she gets the chance to meet him properly.
Why wasn't David charged with performing an indignity to a human body when he buried Callum?
