It's all going on for Maria this Christmas, poor love. She's up in court over Christmas over her sham marriage to Pablo. Rumours have already appeared in the tabloids that she may be getting locked up for a year as the actress takes a break, but this has neither been confirmed nor denied by ITV, so take it with a pinch of salt at the moment.
Anyway, what we can confirm thanks to Inside Soap is that Aidan and Maria will spend the night together over the festive season. And Eva? She hasn't a clue what's going on. In fact, she organises a Christmas party for Maria just in case she's sent to prison and has to miss Christmas on the cobbles.
Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, says: "If Maria does go to prison I don't think she'll come out the same person. She wouldn't cope well so it's bound to change her."

I'd be surprised if they did send her to prison again unless the actress does want a break from the show.
