First look pics - Eileen and Gail scrap on Coronation Street

Here are some first pictures of a Coronation Street street fight between Eileen and Gail.

The episode will be shown on Monday 29 June 2015.

Gail rages at Eileen. Eileen does her best to defend herself, assuring Gail they only kissed and Michael isn’t really her type, but this only serves to fuel Gail’s anger.

Gail pursues Eileen out of the salon and the two women fight on the street. The Platts watch in horror as Gail and Eileen brawl on the cobbles.

In her rage Gail makes some disparaging remarks about Michael but her anger quickly turns to regret as she spots Michael who’s heard every word. Can he forgive Gail’s behaviour or are the couple back to square one?

If there's a word missing from the headline to this story it would be "again". Sadly, this is another example of a pretty staggering lack of imagination and desperation that's becoming harder and harder to hide. First we had an old storyline being played out by different characters in the form of the Jenny Bradley baby-snatch. Now we've gone one better by having the same scene being played out by the same characters. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat, and hope that people either don't notice or are amused by things they already seen over and over again. Woeful.

Like Eileen couldn't squash Gail in a nanosecond. Ridiculous seen-before material.

At first, I thought that this was another one of those photos from the past. Then I realised, sadly, that it wasn't Friday.

Here we go again! All the storylines seem to be on a loop lately and for the first time I am not bothered whether I watch or not.

Oh what, again? As if. It's ridiculous, a lump like Eileen would splatter Gail any day of the week.

I am now seriously at the point where, after over 50 years viewing, I just couldn't care less any more.

That's me, done.

This must be a kind of writers' in-joke. Whereas the original scrap involved the women's children, I can't believe they'd be bothered to get violent over Michael.

How many times did Ena and Elsie argue? It may have been done before but that doesn't mean it won't be great. - Micky

Er - hello what has the above got to do with Coronation Street?

Why are people shown constantly resorting to violence anyway? When you are an adult you are supposed to be past scraps and adult enough to hold yourself in an argument. Heavy weight Eileen against Feather Weight Gail is not a fair fight anyway and its very demeaning for both women to behave like this.

We at Corrie have sworn to educate the public about the dangers of school bullying by portraying realistic and sensitive stories that depict its harm. This latest twist is a warning to all children that if your bullying persists this is how ridiculous you will end up in your old age.

It's pathetic how some actors leave due to 'lack of storyline'claims by the writers who subject their viewers to the same recycled plotlines to justify storylines for characters like the Platts and Kevin Webster and yet producers are surprised that ratings is down?!
As for Michael if he has feelings for Eileen but married Gail anyway, perhaps Gail should let him go.

The writers seem bent on turning Gail into the most ridiculous freak on the Street. Fighting in the street over a man who says he hates her, even if they are still legally married, is beyond ridiculous. Gail can also always be trusted to say the most vile, childish and ridiculous things that hurt others. People comment about Eileen having a sharp tongue but Gail is Ivy incarnate!

Given some of the things that Eileen has said to Gail over the past few months I wouldn't blame Gail for smacking her one

What kind of nutbar not only initiates conflict with someone at a public hair salon but then actually chases them out into the street, still wearing the salon cape (just to escape the hostile scene)? Gail has completely lost the plot and if she thinks this will somehow win Michael back she's even more twisted in the head than she looks in these photos.

It is kind of surprising that they make these two grown women engage in physical fights. In all my years I have never seen two women brawl, nor have I engaged in a fight myself. What is this ? A Jerry Springer show? Who fights in the street like that?
