Pre-Production Script Supervisor – Coronation Street
We
are looking for a Pre-Production Script Supervisor to join our award
winning Editorial & Production Team. The role is to assist the
Editorial team in successfully and accurately delivering scripts to
Production, which includes managing all script-related processes
including importing, timing episodes, managing amendments, writing
synopses etc.
You will prepare all aspects of scripts for the
successful pre-production of the series, you will deal with production
personnel at all levels including our Producer, Directors and actors.
You
will be responsible for implementing and administering a workflow to
migrate our writers onto Adobe Story and deliver training to those
writers as well as providing support as their gateway into Coronation
Street.
As Pre-Production Script Supervisor you will be
responsible for the day-to-day running of the pre-production script
team, including managing our Editorial Assistants to support their
development needs. Timing all script versions to aid our Coronation
Street Script and Production team, you will record script and scene
durations/predicted run-times in Adobe Story and other systems as
relevant and keep continuity notes for discussion at script/production
meetings.
We will look to you to attend script meetings with the
Producer/Director, input amendments made onto Adobe Story and assist in
the production of rehearsal scripts as required. A key part of the role
will be the management and administration of key systems such as Adobe
Story and to provide training to writers and other users as necessary.
Previous experience of Adobe Story is desirable but not essential as
training can be provided.
If you are a Script Supervisor with a
wealth of experience in Drama, have excellent IT, administrative and
communication skills along with a good understanding of the production
process and the ability to deal with a wide range of personalities in a
calm and professional manner then we want to hear from you.
