Coronation Street came away with only one award from the All About Soap Awards, which were held last night.
Corrie picked up the Best Wedding award for Tyrone and Kirsty’s big day.
Hollyoaks won three awards, Emmerdale and EastEnders both received two awards.

public are the most important to the soaps, as it shows what the
audience is responding to.”

This shows how the current Corrie story lines are NOT interesting to the viewers who voted.
Although it's also possible that the older Corrie fans are not the type to vote in these kinds of contests. The younger viewers, who are most likely to be fans of the other soaps, are more likely to cast votes. So that's an alternative explanation to Corrie's poor showing.
