I was surprised to read that Tony Gordon's set to have a heart attack as I thought he clearly didn't have a heart. But anyway, bad jokes aside, it looks like Coronation Street's latest villain will have a coronary by the canal after confessing to Roy Cropper that he killed Liam Connor.
The official Corrie site at itv.com/corrie have a gallery of the best Corrie villains throughout the years.
My favourite's Jez Quigley, who's yours?

I have it tied between Alan Bradley and Terry Duckworth.
Alan Bradley and Tricky Dicky
Richard Hillman, but Tony comes very close!
I'm with you on Jez Quigley. He was SCARY.
Richard Hillman. Norman Bates with a briefcase. Classic!
I would say Jez Quigley since he didn't seem to have any redeeming features whatsoever. Alan did love his daughter, i think, Richard loved his family and Tony seems to have a good side somewhere under all that. The fact that Tony can feel guilt shows that but it doesn't excuse him.
I can't help thinking that they could have come up with a slightly more realistic obligatory-just-desserts-for-a-soap-killer for Tony Gordon than a heart attack. That's not to say that healthy, fit, young-ish men don't succumb to heart attacks - they plainly do - but it just seems a little bit unlikely that Maria could be so cruelly deprived of true love and happiness just a year after experiencing the very same thing when the previous love of her life also croaked prematurely (albeit thanks to TG).
